Well, unlike this guy, I wait until the light is green for me to do it, so unless instructed otherwise, it is actually legal. But no, it’s not as much about the sat-nav as it is about me who keep on forgetting shit when I leave home lol

I always pass on to a more suitable place to make a u-turn or take the turn and then find a place to make a u-turn.

I laid on the horn this morning leaving the gas station, as the Audi Q5 in front of me wouldn’t turn right at the red light even with no traffic. Passenger got out and yelled “NO TURN ON RED!!!” and I yelled back “I’M SORRY!!!”

I felt like a tool for the next 20 minutes.

I sat at a green arrow last night (in my defense I worked 11 hours and had to go back out at 9 to get my kid) because I thought it was green for opposing traffic as well... the van across from me even started moving. My sleep-fogged brain thought THEY were the ones sitting, and for a split second as I started to go in front of them (YOLO) and I heard honking I thought it was the car behind the van.

Nope, it was the Silverado behind ME.

Then I saw the arrow.

Oof. I did the same thing once. The driver rolled down the window and point at the “no turn of red” sign that was actually visible from where I was. I felt so, so dumb.

I once laid on the horn at a car sitting in the right lane with what I though was his left blinker on. I presumed he was holding up traffic because he wanted to turn left from the rightmost lane.

Only once I passed him did I realize that the left turn signal was actually his hazards and that his car was broken down.
